The Balmoral is the largest cruise ship of the Fred Olsen Line. Capable of carrying 1350 passengers, it offers luxury in its 710 cabins, the cuisine and the line up of entertainment. The best part of the cruise was the de embarkation, I have never been on a holiday were there were so many miserable people. i wish someone could have told me at the time of booking that ,the average age of the clientelle would be in there 80's.... Read full review
Embarkation went very smoothly, our cabin was an inside cabin and it was one of the newly reburbished ones as the bathroom was very big, much bigger than the other ones we have been in aboard other ships. The food was great, restaurants and cafe's where all good. Booze wasn't as pricey as I had expected so that was a nice bonus..... Read full review
Checking in on the ship was very easy and efficient. We didn’t have to line up for forever, it seems as if the staff had everything in order and we were settled in our cabin before we knew it. The ship does not have the glitz and glamour of other cruise ships but it does offer a comfortable and relaxed setting where you can sit back and enjoy a nice holiday..... Read full review
